Each piece you see here is an original Veenstra creation, designed and individually worked by Jim.  All are copyright protected.  Some are designed to be hung in windows or interior spaces, and some are free-standing.  Most of the free-standing etched/carved pieces come with a light base that illuminates (edgelights) the glass which adds an incredible luminous look, especially under low light conditions.  These double not only as a piece of original art, but as a functional "night light".  The copper overlay pieces go through a very dynamic range of look depending on the incoming light.  They change throughout the day as they hang in a window and respond to sunlight conditions.    Jim encourages you to call him to discuss any piece or project you might be interested in.  Thanks!
